There is No School for Wednesday, November 27 – November 29 for Thanksgiving Break.
Thanksgiving originated from the Native American philosophy of giving without expecting anything in return. The Wampanoag tribe provided food and taught the colonists how to hunt and farm. Now the day is known as a National Day of Mourning for Native American people. We hold them and their tradition in our hearts on this day.
At SA, we honor tradition by being thankful. We are thankful for our amazing teachers and staff, they are so dedicated to their students and their craft. We are thankful for our families who have such amazing children. We are thankful for our school. Our school is a safe space where students can express their individuality. We are thankful for our planet. We will try to protect it.
