Susan Shepherd

I have been in the district for 31 years working in the libraries at Flynn, EMS, BHS, and then split between EES and IAA for the last 10 years.  I’ve always felt this was the perfect place for me as kids and books are two of my favorite things.  I have a B.A. in history and art history from UVM.  I also grew up in Burlington – going through Flynn, Hunt, and BHS.  After school I lived in Mexico for two years, then Florida for another two, returning to Burlinton to raise a family.  I have two adult children; a son in San Diego and a daughter in Philadelphia.

In my free time I read, garden, make jewelry, and do collage art.
