Dear Incoming Kindergarten Families,

Thank you for visiting our kindergarten earlier this month! It was a pleasure to meet you and your children. We hope you enjoyed exploring our classrooms and learning about the exciting experiences that await your little ones. If you were not able to join, we are looking forward to meeting you soon.

I am following up with some resources to support your child’s transition:

1. Social Story about Kindergarten: This story is designed to help children understand what to expect in kindergarten and was created by our preschool team at SA. You can view it here.
2. Slideshow from Our Open House: If you would like to revisit the slideshow we shared during your visit, you can view it here.
3. School Website: For more information about our school, upcoming events, and other resources,
4. After School Program Registration: We offer a variety of afterschool programs to enrich your child’s learning experience. You can find more information, including information about how to register, on our school website. Kevin Lewis, SA’s Afterschool Director, is also included on this email if you would like to reach out to him directly.

As a reminder, the first two days of kindergarten (August 26 & 27) are early release days (for kindergarteners only). Students will be dismissed at 11:30am with no afterschool. Wednesdays are early dismissal days each week and dismissal is at 1:50pm. On Thursday and Friday, students will be dismissed at 2:50pm.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us. We are excited to welcome you to SA!

Sincerely,

Nina
