State Assessments
During the month of May all students in grades 3-9 are required to take the state test called the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC). Click here for an informational letter and state assessment calendar.

Monday May 10th and Tuesday May 11th: English/Language Arts
Thursday May 13th and Friday May 14th: Mathematics

10th Anniversary
Last spring, SA partnered with the Vermont Folklife Center to create a documentary celebrating Sustainability Academy’s 10th year as a magnet school. Check out the video to learn about our history, some of our important partners and what Education for Sustainability looks like here at SA.
Peace Is….
The first and second graders year long question is: How can we create Peace and Joy in our Community?
The students learned about different ways they can create peace within themselves and in their communities
and then created this video to share with our school community at a Wednesday Morning Meeting.
